And now a message from Chicago's FOP President Mike Shields

FOP Toy Drive
We are urging all of our members to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the FOP Hall at 1412 W. Washington Blvd. These toys will be distributed to our FOP brothers and sisters on the East Coast who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Your toy(s) should arrive at FOP Hall no later than Tuesday, December 18th. They will be accepted through the end of the General Meeting held at 7:00 pm on that day.

We can guarantee that these toys will end up in the hands of our brothers and sisters as Santa Sid (Recording Secretary Sid Davis) will deliver them personally.

Let's show the world that FOP takes care of its own. Please help make this toy drive a success with your generosity. You do not need to be a member to donate to this worthy cause.

Christmas Card Request for Terminally Ill Child
A life-saving crew member in Bedford County, VA, emailed a request and asked for our help within the Police family.

There is a 6 year old boy from Rustburg, Virginia that is dying of terminal cancer and he might not live to see Christmas. His special request is to receive Christmas cards from police officers, firefighters and EMS personnel.

If you could take a few minutes out of your busy schedule and grant Nathan's wish by posting his name and address to those who would be so kind as to send him a card.

Help show our support! For all of us who have children, we know just how great this initiative is.

Cards can be mailed to:
