Police arrested a 19-year-old man after they say he shot at two boys playing football in the Roseland neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
The pair was near the corner of 108th Street and Eggleston Avenue about 5:25 p.m. Thursday when police say Walter White, 19, opened fire in their direction.
White was charged with two counts of aggravated battery, along with discharging a firearm, Kubiak said. He's expected in bond court today, Kubiak said.
Witnesses provided a detailed description and White was caught a short time later, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Laura Kubiak said.
