A 24-year-old Harvey man was killed early this morning after being hit by a vehicle crossing a street in the south suburban city. The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Javier Segura, 24, of the 15800 block of Fisk Street, was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 159th Street and Lathrop Avenue in Harvey a little after midnight, according to Harvey spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado.
