Chicago Murder City - Three men are dead and at least 13 people were wounded in separate shootings in Chicago from Friday night through Sunday midday. In the latest shooting, a young man was killed and another wounded in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Sunday morning.
Police were called at approximately 10:15 a.m. for the shooting in the 1100 block of North Keystone Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez. Two young men, who are believed to be 17 and 21 years old, were shot at that location, Perez said. The 21-year-old was dead on the scene, according to police. A spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed a fatality at that location, but could not provide any details on the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
