'Elmer Fudd Bandit' hits 5th bank on Northwest Side

SOMEBODY HAS TO KNOW WHO THIS MORON IS...Most likely a bad gambler at the closest casino.
A robber dubbed the "Elmer Fudd Bandit" -- because of his cap and plaid flannel shirt -- is suspected of hitting his fifth bank since the middle of this month, authorities say.
In the most recent heist, the robber implied he had a gun when he entered the bank at 7342 W. Foster Ave. in the Oriole Park neighborhood around 1:25 p.m. today, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
The man approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash, according to FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled on foot, she said.
