CIA Director David Petraeus resigned Friday after admitting to an extramarital affair

That damn vagina.... People kill over, get killed over it, they lose spouses, they lose money and even they even lose the CIA Director spot....

CIA Director David Petraeus resigned Friday after admitting to an extramarital affair -- an affair with his biographer that was revealed over the course of an FBI investigation, Fox News has learned.
The FBI had been investigating an unrelated and much broader case before stumbling on the affair. Fox News has learned that during the course of this investigation, the name of biographer Paula Broadwell came up. The FBI followed that lead and in doing so, uncovered his affair with her. The FBI for some time was concerned that perhaps Petraeus was some sort of victim, but there has been no evidence discovered to back up such concerns.
Broadwell co-wrote Petraeus' biography, "All In."
Petraeus met with President Obama on Thursday before submitting his letter of resignation, which the president accepted.  In a message to staff, Petraeus said he asked "to be allowed" to step down.

Antonio "Savage" Jenkins Jr. tattoo of pig, gun is threat to Minneapolis police officer, charges say

Antonio "Savage" Jenkins Jr. was proud enough of the new tattoo on his left bicep to stick a photo of it on Facebook. But Hennepin County prosecutors say Jenkins’ tattoo crossed the line from body art to crime.

Antonio "Savage" Jenkins Jr. was proud enough of the new tattoo on his left bicep to stick a photo of it on Facebook.

"My tattoo iz a pig get’n his brains blew out," read the caption. The tattoo depicted a person holding a pistol into the mouth of a pig dressed in a Minneapolis police uniform with the badge of Officer Jeffrey Seidel.

But Hennepin County prosecutors say Jenkins’ tattoo crossed the line from body art to crime. On Thursday, the reputed member of the Bloods street gang -- currently on probation for armed robbery -- was charged with making a terroristic threat for the benefit of a gang.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said in an interview that the threat was specific and Jenkins had the capacity to act on it.

Woman raped for 10 minutes on Los Angeles Metro bus - Bus driver did NOT notice the 10 minute rape of a disabled woman

Authorities released a photo of a man detectives believe raped an 18-year-old woman for 10 minutes on a Metro bus.
The victim was described by authorities as having the mental capacity of a 10-year-old.
The attack took place in the rear of the near-empty bus Wednesday evening and went unnoticed by the driver, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
"During the rape, an unknown witness, the only passenger on the bus, attempted to get the driver's attention," the department said in a statement.
But the attacker left the 217 bus before the driver became aware of the assault, according to the department. The attacker got off at the last stop where the bus makes its turnaround at Jefferson Boulevard near Slauson Avenue.
The victim reported the attack to the driver after the attacker was gone.
Detectives said the attacker is black and between 18 and 20 years old. He is 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with short-cropped hair and was wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt with narrow horizontal stripes, authorities said.
Detectives were also seeking the witness. Anyone with information is asked to call authorities at (866) 247-5877. Anonymous tipsters can call (800) 222-8477.

Big surprise here...Chicago Female Aldermen flock to save a corrupt family... Female Chicago aldermen unite behind Ald. Sandi Jackson, one of their own

The sorority of female aldermen on Thursday closed ranks behind one of their own — Ald. Sandi Jackson (7th) — amid word that Jackson’s newly re-elected husband, U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Il.), is negotiating a plea deal and may have used campaign funds to buy a $40,000 Rolex for a female friend.
The post-election plea bargaining was galling enough to Sandi Jackson’s sisters in the City Council. Even more upsetting was the public humiliation that Sandi Jackson is enduring once again because of her husband’s alleged philandering. “In every marriage somewhere down the line, you think that your husband might fool around on you, but not necessarily commit adultery. Being a high-profile person, how constrained could he be? But, to have it all now slammed in her face. That has got to be so humiliating, it’s like, I don’t want to get out of bed,” said Ald. Carrie Austin (34th), chairman of the City Council’s Budget Committee.

Officials: Chicago Cops fatally shoot man who pointed gun at them

Police officers were driving south on Indiana near an alley when they spotted a man coming out of the alley with a gun in his hand, said Camden.

After police pulled over they ordered the man to drop the gun but the man began running down the alley and about midway the man turned and pointed the weapon at the police, Camden said.

David Johnson and Tommy Johnson — in a lawsuit against the city — claim the Chicago Police Department unfairly refused to waive their fees. One female sex offender alleged a Chicago Police officer waived her fee because of financial hardship, but then he creepily called her to ask for a date.

Don't mess with our pensions! Again, thank you to everyone that voted and worked against HJRCA 49.

Maybe the only good news from this election - Illinois pension benefit amendment likely fails

Illinois voters have rejected a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would have made it more difficult to expand public employee retirement benefits.

With about 90 percent of the vote reported on Wednesday morning the proposed amendment had support from 56 percent of Illinoisans who voted on the measure. But that fell short of the two criteria needed for passage.

The measure needed a favorable vote from either three-fifths of those voting on the measure, or 50 percent of the total number of votes cast in Tuesday's election. Nearly 5 million people voted in the election.

With lawmakers stalemated on how to fix a severely underfunded pension system, the amendment would have required a three-fifths vote of the Legislature -- instead of a simple majority -- to increase pension benefits for public employees.

Chicago Police officers retiring at record pace... and not being replaced

Chicago already has registered more homicides than it did during all of last year. Now, the Chicago Police Department is on pace to break an all-time record that could make it more difficult to stop the bloodshed: police retirements in a single year.
Fraternal Order of Police President Mike Shields disclosed Monday that the ranks of 2012 retirees will top 580, breaking the old record of 570 in 2004.
Through Oct. 31, 475 officers had retired. According to Shields, an additional 105 officers met a Nov. 1 deadline to file the paperwork to take advantage of the city’s offer of premium health-care benefits for those who retire at 55.
Over the last decade, 4,178 city officers have retired from the force, an average of 417 officers a year.
Retirements ranged from 261 in 2009 to the previous high of 570.
Equally troubling to Shields is the fact that the city has hired just 190 officers so far this year.

Media blackout of black Chicago protesters marching against Obama

CHICAGO, IL - Black Chicagoans from the south and west sides took their message to what they say is the source of the problem when they converged outside of a fundraiser held by Mayor Emanuel for Barack Obama and then marched to the studios of ABC News.
Their message, “let us work in our own community,” was made all the more poignant as the ABC News crew ignored the news event outside their very studios. Not one camera was sent to cover the news that was, literally, placed at their doorstep.
The protest, which took place Thursday evening, addressed these community members’ growing desperation as their wartorn neighborhoods are redeveloped by political cronies, evicting residents and shutting out local investors, and use union labor from outside the community to do the work. It’s a corrupt cycle of government “work” that takes advantage of the poor, evicting them, and then redeveloping the properties to benefit anyone but the community.

City of Chicago rests in case of Chicago Police Officer Anthony Abbate beating the illegal polish bartender Karolina Obrycka

Witnesses called by the city challenged key assertions by lawyers for the bartender, Karolina Obrycka, that higher-ranking officers obtained misdemeanor charges in a bid to minimize Abbate’s conduct and that the city has an abysmal record of disciplining officers for excessive force.

NIU Police Chief Don Grady - A Chief with a "Checkered" past in the trouble limelight again - Dekalb officials ask state cops to investigate NIU police

How ironic, a police chief who wrote a bullshit book called "THE INJUSTICE OF JUSTICE" may have hid evidence in a police criminal matter.

The DeKalb County State’s Attorney has asked state police to investigate the Northern Illinois University police department and its police chief after a judge ruled last week the department hid evidence that could have cleared one of its officers of a felony sexual assault charge.
Officer Andrew Rifkin was charged with criminal sexual assault in November 2011 after he allegedly attacked a NIU student, according to a news release. He was later fired from the job after an investigation, the release stated.
On Monday, DeKalb State’s Attorney Clay Campbell requested the probe into the department and Police Chief Don Grady after a judge found the NIU police department withheld evidence from his office. The information “arguably exonerates” Rifkin of the charges, he said.
