A 20-year-old man died Saturday night after being struck by a car in the Belmont Central neighborhood, authorities said.
He was identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Jose Alfredo Sosa. His home address was not available.
A light-colored sedan collided with Sosa at about 9:37 p.m. on the 5900 block of West Diversey Avenue, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.
