BLACK VIOLENCE: Man shot in back in Chicago's Greektown

CHICAGO, IL - A man was shot in the back in Greektown early Thursday morning, one of at least three people shot overnight in Chicago, police said.

Someone inside a car shot the 23-year-old man about 2 a.m. on Jackson Boulevard just east of Halsted Street. The victim and a witness gave conflicting reports about what happened and police said they were trying to figure out what happened.
Paramedics cut through the man's jacket as they tended to him. Down from the jacket drifted along Jackson as an evidence technician worked behind yellow tape.
