A 43-year-old Bellwood man was shot dead outside his home last night.
Police responded to a call of a man down at 10:18 p.m. and found the victim, 43-year-old Salato S. King, lying on the sidewalk outside his west suburban home in the 100 block of Hyde Park Avenue, according to Deputy Chief of Police Miguel Herrera.
