Chicago Police: 3 Dark Bronze People shot in Bronzeville

Three people were shot tonight in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The shooting occurred about 6:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue and wounded three people including a 13-year-old, according to Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

Paramedics took one person who was seriously hurt to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County while a second person was taken to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in fair condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
