1 murdered, 1 shot & wounded in shooting outside Chicago's Bridgeport restaurant

Two men with checkered backgrounds standing in line at a Bridgeport fast-food restaurant were gunned down during an argument early this morning, leaving one of the men dead and the other in critical condition, police said.

The shooting occurred about 5:20 a.m. today near 35th Street and Morgan Street in the Bridgeport neighborhood, police said. The two men were outside the restaurant when two other men approached, a fight began, and shots were fired, according to Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli. The two gunmen then fled the scene; a detailed description of the two was not available.
