FOP UPDATE - 4 EXCLUDED CHICAGO POLICE OFFICERS NOW ADDED TO SERGEANT CLASS

Excluded Sergeants Added to Class

Four Officers contacted the Lodge late Friday evening after they were wrongfully omitted from the Sergeant's Promotinal List. The Lodge was unable to immediately address the issue due to the late hour, upcoming weekend, and Department Command Staff unavailability. Beginning early Monday morning the Lodge worked non-stop for the past three days on behalf of these Officers. This afternoon Lodge Representatives attended a meeting with the Superintendent and his staff at his office. The Lodge was successful in its efforts as these Officers will be in class at the Training Division at 8:00 am tomorrow morning.
