UPDATE: The body of an 18-year-old Northwestern University student who had been missing for six days was found Thursday evening in Wilmette Harbor, the university announced.

Following their "strongest lead" yet, authorities have expanded their search for a missing Northwestern University student to Wilmette Harbor.
The search for Harsha Maddula, 18, was widened after authorities discovered that his cell phone last sent out a signal in the area around the harbor early Saturday, not long after he left an off-campus party and about two miles north from where he lived.
Searches are combing the area around the harbor, while divers and sonar are being used to search Lake Michigan, police said at a news conference this morning.
