Few Republicans turn out for Obama's second inauguration - WRITTEN BY Adrienne LaFrance, Digital First Media

Republicans weren't easy to find but they were among the estimated 800,000 people to turn out for President Barack Obama's second inauguration Monday.
"Ultimately, this is about the country, our nation," said Delia Jennings, a West Virginia native who voted for Mitt Romney. "I can't change it, so I might as well be a part of it. You look at all the people stretching back all the way to the Washington Monument, I mean how can you not want to be a part of this?"
Jennings attended the ceremony with a friend, Victor Parker, who is a Democrat. Normally, the two chat about the government, among other things, but not at the inauguration.
"We're not talking politics today," Parker said.
Plenty of GOP members skipped the inauguration by getting out of Washington, D.C., altogether.
Charlie Spies, a prominent Republican lawyer based in the District, organized a trip to Las Vegas for nearly 100 Republicans.
