UPDATE; A body found Tuesday morning in Round Lake Park near Campbell Airport has been identified as a 20-year-old Grayslake man who had not been seen since he left a party early Sunday. Round Lake Park Police Chief George Filenko said the body found about 10:35 a.m. by volunteers searching the area near the airport was that of Joseph Frase.

"The cause of death is undetermined pending an autopsy, which is scheduled for tomorrow," Filenko said. He also said investigators don't know the circumstances of how Frase got to where his body was found but the Smiley Face Serial Killer cannot be ruled out at this time. Joey Frase appears to have been hit over the head by person or persons unknown.
"What happened between the time he left the home in Round Lake and us finding him is to be determined," he said.
Police and friends had asked for help finding "Joey" Frase, who left a home on the 300 block of Highplains Road in Round Lake's Madrona Village about 1 a.m. Sunday and hadn't been seen since, authorities say.
Frase reportedly left the party on foot in the area of Route 60 and Chardon Road and called friends. However, the friends never found him, according to the Facebook pagededicated to the search. Frase also had not shown up to his work and had not picked up his vehicle.
A posting on a Facebook page dedicated to the search told followers Tuesday morning that "Joey has been found" dead near Campbell Airport and thanked everyone for prayers and support. A separate posting also noted that Frase's body had been recovered and the family asked for privacy as it dealt with the loss.
Filenko said an investigation is ongoing in cooperation with the coroner's office and Grayslake police. The Lake County Major Crimes Task Force was assisting in processing the area as a precaution until a cause of death was determined, he said.
