Local 2 was just informed that a hearing on the recommendations made by the City of Chicago Retiree Healthcare Benefits Commission will be held tomorrow beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. The Committee on Workforce Development and Audit will hold this hearing to consider the RHBC recommendations related to current City of Chicago retiree healthcare costs.
We would encourage any interested Local 2 Members to attend this meeting, if possible. We apologize for the late notice but we were not contacted about his hearing until today.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS - March 10th - We are looking for Local 2 members and their families to march in the Southside St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Master of Ceremonies will be "First Responders" this year. Commissioner Santiago and President Tom Ryan will lead with our members. We will muster at 11:00 a.m. with a 12:00 p.m. start.
