Illegal Mexican Story of the Week: 74 year old illegal Mexican fatally stabs his 71 year old ex-wife - The ex-wife fatally stabbed a pregnant Illegal Mexican in 1974

A 71-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Santa Ana home Saturday, and her 74-year-old ex-husband, who called 911 to report the death, has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police said.
Santa Ana police spokesman Anthony Bertagna said Macaria Finefield was found "with what appeared to be a single stab wound to the chest" in her home in the 700 block of South Orange Avenue. But he said police won't know the extent of her wounds or whether there were other causes or trauma until an autopsy, which is scheduled for Monday.
Bertagna said police arrested the victim's ex-husband, Kenneth Finefield, after interviewing him, and reported that he is being held in Santa Ana jail on suspicion of murder. Finefield lived with his ex-wife, police said.
Bertagna said he had no information about any motive.
The deceased had herself once been accused of stabbing someone to death more than three decades ago.
The Orange County Register reported that Macaria Finefield was arrested in 2004 on second-degree murder charges, accused of killing a pregnant woman unintentionally in 1974 when she tried to perform a C-section on her in her home.
Authorities said Macaria Finefield, who had met Bertha Hernandez in Tijuana and brought her to Santa Ana to find her husband, had then disposed of Hernandez's body in Mexico.
Charges against Finefield were dropped, according to the Register, after Mexican authorities provided proof that she spent three years in a Mexican prison for the death.
