One in custody after Chicago police shooting in Brighton Park

Police caught a man who they shot at three hours earlier after he fled from a Brighton Park robbery, authorities said.
The robbery happened at a cell phone store at 47th Street and Kedzie Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood about 8 p.m. Police said a citizen noticed at least two people with ski masks entering the store and called police, a lead that gave offices a jump on the situation they may not have otherwise had.
The man fled and police gave chase. He was running down an alley when he turned at police with a gun in his hand as he tried to hop a fence, Fraternal Order of Police Spokesman Patrick Camden said.
