A man who worked for Illinois Congressman John Shimkus was arrested early Sunday morning on an assault charge after a scuffle with actress Lindsay Lohan in a New York hotel room, but he was released and charges were eventually dropped.
According to the Associated Press, Lohan claimed 25-year-old Christian LaBella grabbed her in an argument over cell phone images at the W Hotel in Manhattan’s Union Square.
Lohan, 26, and LaBella filled harassment complaints with police against each other after. LaBella’s arrest was voided when the charge could not be substantiated, the Associated Press reported.
