Chicago police respond to suspicious package call in Garfield Ridge, 6200 Block of South Normandy = Bomb & Arson Personnel on the scene. Lots of Police & Emergency Equipment on the Scene. UPDATE: It appears that one or more small chemical bombs - the kind that teenage kids make with home cleaning chemicals - were found at the school. These bombs usually cause little or no damage and usually do not start a fire. They make a BOOM when the plastic bottle explode and that's about it.
