A teenager was shot and killed in the Cragin neighborhood this evening, police said.
The man, 19, was shot several times in the 3200 block of North Cicero Avenue about 6 p.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
He initially was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, according to the Chicago Fire Department media office. But Zala said the man was later declared dead.
Another man, 23, was shot in a drive-by about 7:40 p.m., Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. He was walking with another person when someone in a passing car opened fire. The man was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
