Congratulations to the below listed newly promoted Chicago police detectives - NEW CPD DETECTIVES' LIST 12/19/2012

The personnel listed below will report to the Education and Training Division, 1300 W. Jackson 
Blvd., on Monday, 24 December 2012 to begin pre-service Detective training.  The listed 
members will report at 0745 hours wearing the requisite field  uniform of the day, including 
regulation service weapon.  Listed members will be in compliance with all uniform and personal 
appearance standards. Reporting members will have their helmet, baton, bulletproof vest and 
raincoat immediately available.  Members participating in this training will be prepared to be 
activated as a tield unit at any time during the training period. 

The Education and Training Division parking lots will not be available.  Members should allow 
ample time to secure legal parking in the vicinity of the Education and Training Division.  The 
listed members will be carried in Saturday/Sunday day off group effective Sunday, 23 December 
2012 and for the duration of training.  Furloughs are cancelled to facilitate training.  Members 
attending this training will be carried code 47, In-Service Training, by their units.  The listed 
members will  not be detailed to the Education and Training Division. 

District Station Supervisors/Unit Commanding Officers will notify the affected members of their 
command ensuring that all  affected members are aware of the reporting date and time; the 
uniform and equipment requirements; and the parking restrictions.  Affected members must 
confirm notification by calling Sergeant A. Zayas-Human Resources Division, Pax #0521/ 
Bell# 312-745-5300 and the Education/Training Division, Pax 4085/Bell# 312-746-8315, 
no later than  1300 hours 20 December 2012.
