UPDATE; FBI OFFERS $50,000.00 REWARD DEAD OR ALIVE - Salt & Pepper Team Prisoners Escaped From Chicago's Federal Metropolitan Correctional Center in the Downtown Loop this Morning 

LAST SEEN IN THE TINLEY PARK AREA PER THE F.B.I.

CHICAGO, IL - Two prisoners have escaped from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in the Loop, police said.

Authorities discovered them missing from their cell at the federal jail at 71 W. Van Buren around  8:45 a.m., according to Central District Police Sgt. Michael Lazzaro.

The inmates were last checked at 5 a.m., he said. Both were wearing orange jumpsuits.

One of the escapees is a bank robbery suspect, Lazzaro said.
