The Sporting News, a staple for generations of information-hungry sports fans, said Tuesday it is ceasing print publication after 126 years and officially will become a digital brand on Jan. 1.
The company cited a diminishing subscriber base and low advertising revenue for its decision to pull the plug on its magazine.
